Why we built theatre foundations?
So many people are curious about theatre but never take the step. Not because they lack talent, but because the door into it can feel high, you imagine auditions, performance, exposure, and it holds people back before they’ve even tried. That’s the gap Theatre Foundations closes.
Developed by Vincent Simon and Anna Mensonides, it’s built on methods we’ve worked with, Lecoq’s physical, playful approach, Stanislavski’s attention to authentic action, Meyerhold’s precision, Boal’s participatory games. Not simplified for beginners, but genuinely taught, so newcomers get real access to the technique, not just a taste of it.
Over ten weeks, in a small group, participants go properly into the work, voice, presence, how you hold yourself and a room, how you stay grounded instead of freezing. It builds real skill, and confidence tends to follow naturally.
