14 meetings · one ensemble · one final performance
This spring, we’re starting a theatre project in Kreuzberg and are looking for people who want to explore, create, and enjoy the process of theatre together.
Over the course of 13 Tuesday evenings and one Saturday session, we will work as a fixed group to develop a theatre piece — rooted in collective creation and shaped by the group. The project will culminate in one public performance in June 2026.
This is not about perfection. It’s about curiosity, commitment, and creating something together.
What we’ll do together
Work regularly with the same group over three months
Explore improvisation, scene work, and character development
Devise and adapt an existing text into a shared performance (text to be announced)
Work with language, body, and imagination
Rehearse towards a clear goal: being on stage together
If you sing or play an instrument and want to bring that into the process, let us know — music is very welcome and may become part of the performance.
Who this project is for?
This project is open to beginners and experienced players alike.
It’s for you if you want to:
commit to a weekly creative practice
work closely with a small, international group
explore yourself on stage — with body, voice, and language
step out of your comfort zone in a supportive environment
perform in front of an audience
You don’t need to be an experienced actor.
You do need curiosity, engagement, and the willingness to play.

About us
Paillette Theater creates multilingual theatre productions and workshops in Berlin, with projects across Germany and abroad. Our work brings together people from different backgrounds and languages to tell stories, cross inner borders, and meet each other on stage — with curiosity, openness, and a strong sense of joy in the process.
The project is led by Vincent Simon (actor, director, theatre educator) in collaboration with Anna Mensonides (theatre facilitator, producer).

The first session on 24 March 2026 marks the start of the project and also offers a moment to see if the process feels right.
