10-Week Theatre Course Berlin

Learn the tools actors use. For more presence and confidence.

Starting 21 September 2026, every Monday evening at Theaterhaus Mitte, Berlin.

Ever wondered how actors just walk into a room and own it? It’s not magic, it’s a set of tools. How you stand. How you use your voice. How you stay grounded when you’re put on the spot. How you think fast instead of freezing.

In this 10-week course, we teach you those tools. Step by step, with a lot of play along the way. This is not only about becoming an actor. It’s about getting out of your head, out of work-mode, and building something that stays with you, on stage and in your life.

What we'll work on

Body and presence: how to stand and move
Voice: how to actually be heard
Staying grounded under pressure, instead of freezing
Reacting in the moment, instead of overthinking
Holding a room, a conversation, a moment
A bit of scene and text work, to bring it all together

Who this is for

No experience needed at all. This isn’t about talent, it’s about training, and playing. Come if you:

Freeze up in meetings, interviews, or whenever you’re put on the spot
Want tools for confidence, not just a pep talk
Have always been a little curious about theatre but never had a concrete way in
Are in some kind of transition, new job, new city, new chapter, and want something that’s just for you
Just want a weekly reason to get out of your head, out of the office, and play

This isn’t a career acting course. It’s ten weeks of learning by doing, together with a small group.

No session on 26 October (autumn holidays)

Fee: 420€ / reduced: 336€ – Installment plans available on request.

Our approach

Our approach draws on several theatre traditions. The physical, playful method of Jacques Lecoq. Stanislavski’s work on attention and authentic action. Meyerhold’s precision and physical awareness. Augusto Boal’s collaborative, participatory games. We use theatre as a practical tool, for confidence, presence, and connection with other people.

About us

Paillette Theater makes multilingual theatre, productions and workshops, in Berlin, with projects across Germany and beyond. We bring people from different backgrounds and languages together to build, train, and grow, with a lot of curiosity and joy along the way.

Led by Vincent Simon (actor, director, theatre educator) together with Anna Mensonides (theatre educator, producer).
